How to Safely Mass Upload to YouTube pt. 5

In part five of our How to Safely Mass Upload to YouTube series, we are going to discuss how to handle URLs and in your descriptions. Disposing like much but it can be tricky when you’re creating multiple channels that point with the same money site. This is what we will explain in this article.

URL Links

It is okay to use the same domain linking from your video to your site within the same channel. All the videos are connected to the channel so it does not cause any harm to leave footprints within that channel. You will not want to use the same domain name across multiple channel, however, because that leaves a footprint which we will discuss that in a little more detail below.

It may be a good idea to use a redirect domain specifically for each channel which redirects to your main money site. Another way to do this is to use bit.ly three direct links. This is the easiest way to go about URL linking. The only trouble with bit.ly re-direct links are that they look a little spammy but are overall not a cause for significant concern. If you have a valuable channel, I would recommend avoiding bit.ly links. If you have a channel with only a few videos on it, is okay to use bit.ly links.

Cross Channel URLs

We touched on this earlier but this time, we are going to talk about how to handle your your URLs for videos in different channel. You do not want to use same domain name on different videos from different channels. That’s an easy footprint to track down and if one of your channels is taken down, YouTube can easily use that to connect those other channels and take them down as well. If you are using a bit.ly redirect, then you are fine as far as channel footprints are concerned.. If you want to keep your legitimacy as high as possible, I would recommend buying niche specific domains which redirect to your money site.

For example: If you are going to upload 100 videos about plants, for your “MyCoolPlants.com” site, split the video channels up into sub sections such as flowers and edible plants. On your flowers channel, you can use the domain MyCoolFlowers.com for your video descriptions and redirect the link to your main site. On your edible plants channel, you can use the domain MyCoolEdiblePlants.com in your description and redirect to your money site. This is more expensive, however, you’ll be free from any URL footprints and the description will not come off as spam to users.

That is how you can avoid them and spanning if one of your EQ channels gets taken down, at least as far as your URL is concerned. In the final part of the series, we will discuss how to minimize footprints in your titles, tags and descriptions.
