What is a spun article?

Creating a spun article involves inserting multiple variations of words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs into a scraped or uniquely written article.

Get the idea? You sacrifice some readability but the output creates alternate and unique variation of the original piece of content.

What do I need article spinning for?

Mainly for backlinks. You can’t copy articles to use as backlink content and expect Google to index it. You will either need to write unique content yourself (time consuming), buy articles to use (too expensive), or create spun content which solves both of those problems.

How do I Spin an article?

*Note: Depending on the spinning software you are using, you may have to use different symbols, normally {}, [] or (). If you need to change them, you can easily do with the find and replace function in notepad.

Should I use software or manually spin my articles?

It depends on the uniqueness and readability you are looking for. If you are looking for spun content to use as your tier 2 and tier 3 backlinks (backlinks to your backlinks OR backlinks to your backlinks’ backlinks) then yes, a spinner software is fine. You can spin articles quickly and easily with software, but they will not be very readable. If you need spun content for your tier 1 backlinks, I would recommend manually spinning your content so that it is human readable and the appropriate uniqueness. Google is always pushing towards punishing spun content so cutting corners now will likely hurt you in the future.

What is the appropriate uniqueness?

Again, it depends on the intent and the amount of times you plan on posting the spun article. In general, an article that is 80% or better will do just fine in Google’s eyes. If you are auto or manually spinning your article, you should aim to replace at least every 4th word. This is how Google differentiates unique and copied content.
